JSP Nominates Liibaan Ahmed Hassan For Galmudug Leadership Election.

Mogadishu (Dawan) – Justice and Solidarity Party (JSP) on Sunday nominated Liibaan Ahmed Hassan as its candidate for the 2026–2031 Galmudug leadership election.

The decision was made during a meeting of the party’s Executive Committee, chaired by Secretary General Hussein Sheikh Mahamud, according to the party.

The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming Galmudug State presidential election.

The nomination is considered a key step in JSP's efforts to win the upcoming election and strengthen its influence in the federal member states. Party members pledged full support and cooperation for the campaign and the upcoming election.
